Terms of service

The rules of using SERVD.

Effective

In plain language

SERVD is a marketplace. We connect home cooks (Diners) with independent professional chefs (Chefs) who cook in your home.

The contract for the dinner itself is between the Diner and the Chef. SERVD facilitates that contract — holding the money in escrow, vetting Chefs, providing support — but we don’t cook your meal or supervise it in real time.

These Terms cover how the Platform works, who can use it, what you owe, what we owe you, and how disputes get sorted out if something goes wrong.

The legal version is below. If anything reads differently in the long form, the long form controls.
